The Oregon Health Authority licenses psilocybin service centres, facilitators and manufacturers under ORS 475A. Psilocybin may be used only at a licensed service centre with a facilitator, with no take-home or retail sale, and only by adults 21 and over. Cities and counties can vote to ban psilocybin businesses locally. Psilocybin remains a Schedule I substance under federal law.

Services are for adults only: ORS 475A.440 bars a licensee from selling or delivering a psilocybin product to a person under 21, and ORS 475A.495 bars anyone under 21 from entering licensed premises. OAR 333-333-4480 lets service centers provide services to clients 21 years of age or older. Local opt-outs: under ORS 475A.718 a city or county may refer an ordinance to its voters to prohibit psilocybin manufacturers or service centers. What to expect

Licensed psilocybin services (Oregon / Colorado): the usual shape, drawn from operators' published schedules. Ask each centre for its own.

PreparationA required session of roughly two hours with your licensed facilitator, often available over video. Intentions, history, expectations, and what will happen on the day.
Administration6 to 8 hours at a licensed service centre, with a facilitator present the whole time. State rules set a minimum stay based on dose. You cannot take the product away.
IntegrationThe facilitator follows up within 72 hours, with an integration session of about two hours offered.
PracticalitiesPlan 3 to 5 days near the centre: a day or two before to prepare, and a day or two after before travelling. No prescription or diagnosis is required, and no medical referral.
