Integration journal
Prompts for day 1, day 3 and weeks 1 to 4 after a psilocybin experience, with space to write.
Prints on A4 or Letter. Pair it with the planner, and read integration in the four-week plan.
Day 1: the evening and the next morning
What happened, in order, as far as I remember it? (Do not interpret yet.)
The strongest feelings, images or moments:
Anything I said or realised that I want to keep:
How does my body feel today?
Day 3: settling
Looking back from a few days away, what seems most important now?
Was there a hard moment? What did it ask of me?
Is anything worrying me (sleep, mood, intrusive thoughts)? If so, who will I tell?
One thing I am grateful for:
Week 1: noticing
What has stayed with me from the day, now that a week has passed?
Where in ordinary life have I noticed a difference, however small?
What do I want to talk through with someone I trust?
Week 2: meaning
Which image, feeling or thought keeps returning? What might it be pointing at?
Is there anything I understood that I do not want to lose? Write it plainly.
Is anything from the day still unsettling? Who could help me with it?
Week 3: one change
What is one small, concrete change I could try this week?
What got in the way of it? What helped?
How am I sleeping, eating and moving?
Week 4: looking back
Reading my intentions again: what happened to them?
What would I tell someone preparing for their first time?
What support do I want next: a therapist, an integration circle, time, or nothing more?
When a retreat or licensed centre is the better choice
If you take any medication on the interaction checker, have a personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder, have a heart condition, or have nobody sober and steady to sit with you, a setting with screening and trained staff is the safer choice. In trials, participants were screened first and supported by trained monitors throughout.
